LameLCD: startup glitch

Currently I'm running the LS from the European power grid. Occasionally the startup sequence doesn't get through to the LCD intact (e.g. left half OK, right have scrolled up half a screen). Never had this issue in Japan though.

I've seen this issue on mine. That's why it sends the startup commands twice, but that doesn't seem to do the trick. I still see it from time to time.
