What is your proposal:

Expect the CI pipeline to run the e2e tests.

Why is this needed:

Apart from the unit and static checks, the pipeline should also run the e2e tests to continuously check if the QoS enhancement and the scheduling features are fully functional.

Is there a suggested solution, if so, please add it:

  1. Investigate alternatives for running e2e in GitHub Actions.
  2. Build the e2e pipeline. ci: initialize e2e workflow #1573, ci: add more slo controllers e2e test #1688.
