The difference between two characters, one that focuses on health, and one that focuses on it not at all, is too vast.
The current formula for the health maximum of a character is equal to a maximum roll of all the health pool dice (e.g. 4d4 would be 4 * 4 = 16). Similarly, carrying capacity is derived using the same formula but using stamina pool dice (e.g. 4d4 -> 4 * 4 = 16).
These are merely placeholder formulas and need to be revisited. Generally it seems that some greater totals could be needed. This issue is for suggestions for new derived formulas.
