Description

When uploading an emote to a room, the file (tested png and webp) is converted to a jpeg.
This results in low quality emotes that do not have any transparency.

Using a custom event to set an uploaded webp as the emote works, but is extremely tedious.

To Reproduce

  1. Use kde.org, probably irrelevant as I can still upload images without them being converted.
  2. Create transparent image as png or webp
  3. Create an emote using it
  4. It's opaque and has compression artifacts!
