Description

Some charactors can't be displayed correctly. Only a box is displayed. E.g. . This can be displayed in Android notification. It's seems that fluffychat uses a font without these charactors.

To Reproduce

Send some charactors that fluffychat can't display. E.g. •‿•.

Additional information:

  • Device: Xiaomi Mi6
  • OS and OS version: Android 11
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 1.2.0
  • (Android only) Which store are you using: F-Droid
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available: No

I also noticed that ʊ doesn't seem to render.

FluffyChat version is 1.16.0 from Android's F-Droid. Android version is 12.

Ǝ also doesn't seem to render on 1.20.0. On Android, installed via Obtanium.

For the sake of keeping this bug open, all subscript small letters cannot be displayed, e.g. ₐₑₕᵢₖₗₘₙₒₚᵣₛₜᵤᵥₓ

The same with superscript letters, which I use for distinguishing messenger (i.e. bridges).
