Description

According to Tulir, Fluffychat seems to be encrypting attachments in a non-spec-compliant way. This resulted in issues when bridging sent images.

For more details, see mautrix/telegram#709

To Reproduce

  1. Install Fluffychat
  2. Setup the mautrix Telegram bridge
  3. Send a bunch of images (fails often but not always)

Additional information:

  • Device: Oneplus 7
  • OS and OS version: Android 10
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: At the time I tested it: Fluffychat 1.1.0
  • (Android only) Which store are you using: Google Play Store
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available: yes
