Description

notifications are not working at all

To Reproduce

  1. login and enable notifications
  2. they don't work

Additional information:

  • Device: Oneplus 7T
  • OS and OS version: lineage, android 11
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 1.3.1 (2456)
  • (Android only) Which store are you using: nightly build from fdroid repo
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available: microg ( unified push is also available and fluffy auto configured both ? )

I also get not notifications.

I use:

  • Device: Pixel 6a
  • OS: GrapheneOS, Android 13, no Google Apps

Also i dont get apps, i will elaborate a little:
in the ntfy server i get the notification json (i configured to send me notifications for that server as a regular notification, to do that you have to manually add the topic adding a / no ntfy url on "custom server" selection on the ntfy app).

so, it seems that the problem is on fluffy making the notifications after that, in my caso, is with lineage os. but i can see that most of questions comes from moded roms, is this intended by developers? or is just a bug?.

also my girlfriend that has a no moded xiaomi says that notifications dont work now either, if i can help in anything else, i would be glad to.

Answering to the last, i found MY problem, it was that, for some reason, fluffy chat notifications was disabled by default in the rom, why? i dont know, but, in MY case it was just turning on the apps notifications in Settings > Apps > FluffyChat > Notifications. and turning on all notifications (see that push notifications from server has another config menu!)

No Notifications (config system reviwed) with:

  • device: oneplus 8 pro (IN2023)
  • OS: oxygenOS 13.1
  • fluffychat 1.17.3

did you go to notifications and saw the ntfy server there? what does the ntfy server logs?

okay I just understand that notifications with Google service doesn't work. I installed ntfy and fluffychat notifs work now ^^

No notifications too.

Fluflychat 1.22.0 (from F-Droid)
ntfy 1.16.0 (from F-droid)

Notes

  • Fluffychat appear subscribed to ntfy. Notifications not work.
  • Materialgram appear subscribed to ntfy. Notifications work.
  • ntfy battery optimizations unrestricted
  • ALL fluffychat notifications enabled
  • No muted conversations
