Description

FluffyChat currently has no "proper" way to send a message when using a physical keyboard on Android (BlueTooth tested, but USB keyboards probably have the same problem). Enter and Shift+Enter both insert a line break.

As a workaround, pressing Tab twice then Enter does highlight and trigger the send button. The obvious suggestion (in-line with other chat and messaging apps) would be to have Enter as send, and Shift+Enter as line break.

To Reproduce

Type some stuff, then press Enter, Shift+Enter, etc.

Additional information:

  • Device: Amazon Kindle Fire HD 10 2017
  • OS and OS version: Android 5.0 Lollipop
  • Installed version of FluffyChat: 0.31.1
  • (Android only) Which store are you using: Google Play Store
  • (Android only) Are Google Services available: Yes
