Mark Libary Assets not working? #2
Comments
hi, when i wrote the addon the asset browser was still under heavy development and there have been some limitation on drawing the marked assets. I have not found the time yet to see if it can be fixed now with the 3.0 release. |
i did some fixes so if you want to give it another try and maybe help with some testing you can find a version here that should be running: https://github.com/kromar/blender_AssetMarker/tree/update-addon |
Thank you for the update. For every object in the folder I get an error file: MT_PM_V60_Setaria_viridis_beauv_01_06.crash.txt And this is what the console prints for every File: Opening Asset Library: E:\hobby\Blender\assets\plants\MT_PM_V60_Blender_CyclesEevee\MT_PM_V60_Acer_buergerianum_01_02.blend This happens for both version 3.0 and 3.1 Do you have any idea what the problem is? |
Thanks for reporting back, yes i came across these issues as well and i will need to file some bug reports with blender since i am not able to fix it . I have it planned it but i am a bit short on time. I can reproduce everything so i do not require additional files. I let you know when i get some news on this topic. Until this is fixed it might be better to avoid using the addon without having some backup files. (just in case something might go wrong) |
When I press "Mark Libary Assets" Blender calculates for a minute, after it is done the asset browser is still empty. In the folder are ~50 .blend files with each 1 object. They should then all show um in the asset browser right? (there aren’t any error messages (where I can find them)). Am I doing something wrong? What is suppose to happon? do I need a spesific python version (I have 3.8.2)?
