Any progress on a Flatpack building solution?

I got a flatpak to build experimentally, but the process seemed a little involved and I realised that I didn't under stand the realise model well enough.

What would you expect the output to be? A flatpak file?

It seemed that submitting the flatpak to a repository was integral part of the process (I could have misunderstood). It seemed a little involved to get it to spit the file cleanly, and I was not sure whether that is how it was meant to be used. May look into this at a later time though.

I honestly don't know anything about it, that's why I appreciate someone having done the research and hard work so that I can target more platforms easily. I need to work on publishing to Windows, Linux AppImage, Linux AUR, MacOS code-signing, Flatpack... while I'd rather spend my time actually working on the programs
