I am using Helix with texlab and zathura. Forward search works fine in most cases but one case that is very annoying is when changing references in the .bib file it always jumps to the first page of the document. This makes it very hard to see what changed.
If there is some reason why the forward search cannot correctly identify where the references section in a document is located it would be better if forward search would do nothing. There were more of these cases (but I cant recall them) where it would be better if the forward search only triggers when it can determine the correct location and otherwise does nothing.
