Perform SET and select from a single query

I'm looking to simplify something like this

let mut transaction = pool.begin().await?;

sqlx::query!("SET LOCAL my.idx = 1")
    .execute(&mut *transaction)
    .await?;
    

let res = query!("SELECT current_setting('my.idx')",)
    .fetch_one(&mut transaction)
    .await?;

transaction.commit().await?;

Is there a way that query! or query_as! can do multiple queries, or have a parameter set for them, such that its a single query to the database?
