Variation value with explicit names

Currently variation uses index to implicitly determine the state. This could cause some confusion if variation options are updated, e.g. removing a deprecated variation.

Would it be possible to use some name/key for each variation instead?

Hey @c-nuro, I appreciate your feedback. Unfortunately, I can't think of a straightforward way to add this without introducing a breaking change. However, we will consider it for the next major version release.
