@jbusecke - before I can do this, should I wait for the new images to be available on LEAP hubs?
At the moment I am still seeing the ones from 2024.07.30.

The image was just updated to 2024.10.11, which should have the necessary requirements!

Just tested the new image, but am unable to connect to it through the terminal.

I just checked on the latest image

conda list | grep ssh

jupyter-sshd-proxy 0.2.0 pyhd8ed1ab_0 conda-forge
libssh2 1.11.0 h0841786_0 conda-forge

So the install seems to work. Do you want to report back on yuvipanda/jupyter-sshd-proxy#1 with the concrete steps you took and what went wrong?
