Windows 10, ASUS TUF Gaming F15, Liftoff 0.10.10

Going to settings > general, and then clicking on the language dropdown, one is presented with a nice list of languages. One can close this list by clicking the darkened area outside the menu, or by pressing the escape key. However, if I click on the non-selectable part of the menu just above "English", I can no longer use the escape key to close the menu.
