the display doesnt seem to load

[ARBS-hmm]

when i installed in on my VM it doesnt load the screen and only a black screen with a blinking cursor

i tried troubleshooting in commandline interface and it says something like the main thread of cosmic-comp panicked or something of that sorts
the display portal also seems to not be loading properly
i tried multiple options for the portal and the xdg-desktop-portal-cosmic but even that doesnt seem to work

am i doing something wrong?
if so i would like to get some advice on how to handle this

GPU acceleration is a hard requirement. The compositor needs OpenGL ES, and applications also use Vulkan.
