Snowpack plugin has only 15 downloads per week and not updated for a long time. Snowpack itself is deprecated as well.

I'm proposing deprecating it in version 3.* and remove from codebase in version 4.

Todo list:

  • Add deprecation / unmaintained notice in Readme of a package
  • Push package with notice to NPM
  • Remove package from repository

@thekip it is possible without package pushing to NPM (Deprecating and undeprecating packages or package versions)

Furthermore, the Readme update on the NPM page involves the new version publishing, which is not the best case for us

I think we can add a deprecation notice in the v3 codebase, NPM deprecation notice and remove the package from the v4

I do not have enough permissions to deprecate the @lingui/snowpack-plugin. @semoal could you please take a look?
