This is an over-arching issue to track the work of creating an intuitive cli interface/experience for interacting with the flintlockd service.

See this discussion for more context.

Some constraints we have decided:

  • The client will live here in the flintlock repo
  • The language should be provider agnotic (ie, should make sense for firecracker, cloud-hypervisor and anything else we may want to use in the future
  • Commands should relate to workflows we expect people to follow
