Collapse some sections

Is there a way to prepare in advance and save a livebook with only some of the sections collapsed (for teaching purposes, so that students can expand them as they go down the book)? Thanks!

This is not supported on purpose. Executing a notebook means executing code and you should review all code before evaluating it.

Now that we have notebook stamping/authoring, perhaps we could support collapsing if you know the stamp/author, but it is unlikely it would help for teaching purposes.

@pfelber, there are some workarounds/solutions that may help you to reach your goal.

You can hide the code solution under a <detail> HTML element inside a markdown of example.

Or you can use this Hidden Cell smart cell from BrooklinJazz.
