This is not supported on purpose. Executing a notebook means executing code and you should review all code before evaluating it. Now that we have notebook stamping/authoring, perhaps we could support collapsing if you know the stamp/author, but it is unlikely it would help for teaching purposes. |

@pfelber, there are some workarounds/solutions that may help you to reach your goal. You can hide the code solution under a Or you can use this Hidden Cell smart cell from BrooklinJazz. Here's a quick video showing the two approaches. Here's the notebook I wrote for the video. You can import it into your Livebook and see the source code. You may also take some inspiration from those real world examples of people:

Is there a way to prepare in advance and save a livebook with only some of the sections collapsed (for teaching purposes, so that students can expand them as they go down the book)? Thanks!
