Sure, go for it!

It's pretty easy to add a new target, especially one that shares as much blood as the CX16 does with the other commodore targets. There's only around 40 lines in the c64 and mega65 directories; that's all that's needed to specialize the generic commodore target to those systems. The CX16 would likely be similar.
