The updated redirect URL for configuring Zitadel as an authentication service with NextAuth.js should be:

http(s)://your-domain/api/auth/callback/zitadel

The environment variables that need to be configured are:

NEXT_AUTH_SECRET=your_generated_secret
NEXT_AUTH_SSO_PROVIDERS=zitadel
ZITADEL_CLIENT_ID=your_client_id
ZITADEL_CLIENT_SECRET=your_client_secret
ZITADEL_ISSUER=your_issuer_url
NEXTAUTH_URL=https://your-domain/api/auth

Make sure to replace your-domain, your_generated_secret, your_client_id, your_client_secret, and your_issuer_url with your actual deployment details. Additionally, ensure that the User Info inside ID Token option is enabled in the Token Settings tab of your Zitadel application settings ^[1][2][3].
