Device: Pixel 4a running Android 13
Version: V6.9.1 and onwards
Hi! The app is amazing! Here are the bugs I'm facing:
When I type a trigger between two words, it won't replace it.
I think it may be due to Unintended expansion when editing or pasting text. #22 - only the last word of the line being replaced (and it matches the version in which it was implemented).
For example:
"something something" -> "something fù something", on version 6.4 to 6.9 would expand to "something \frac{}{} something", but on 6.9.1 and 7.0.0 it won't expand unless I type fù at the end of the line : "something fù something " + "fù " will expand to "something \frac{}{} something \frac{}{} ".
If I type "something fù something sù " it will expand to "something fù something \sum_{}^{} " as expected (doesn't change the fù as it is already typed)
In AnkiDroid, when I type a trigger, the cursor is sent to the end of the line.
Since I use the app to type latex faster, it's a bit repetitive to have to place the cursor back to where it was when I change something in the middle of the formula. (I know I can define custom operators in latex but it doesn't work with my use case).
Btw Anki recently updated to 24.11 (one of the biggest updates ever) and devs have said there is going to be no big changes in the near future so now is a good time to make the app compatible with it!
Thank you again for this wonderful app, as a fellow science student it allows me to type my flashcards a lot faster!
Have a good day
