Todo first tutorial - count and getAll not working

I'm just learning loopback with the in-memory db on the first todo tutorial. Insert and delete work. I can see the db.json changing. The count and getall don't work. I don't know enough about the legacy-juggler to see why that is happening. I don't know if this is something with the code created by lb4, something in how the app was configured (questions in the CLI that I answered) or something with the legacy-juggler itself.
