When I pass in

感じ取れたら手を繋ごう、重なるのは人生のライン and レミリア最高!

I get

感JI取RETARA手WO繋GOU、重NARUNOHA人生NORAIN and REMIRIA最高!

I've been told this is because my input mixes kanji, hiragana and katakana.

Hello, kanji is not currently supported. I notice you've used the example from the kuroshiro module; were you able to see if it helps with your use case?

kuroshiro works, but only in node and the browser; I'm using it in a firefox extension, and there it doesn't work (it fails to load the dicts in the extension).

Ah OK, wanakana is the only other module I'm aware of that might help.

wanakana also doesn't do kanji. I'll see if I can butcher kuroshiro to get it to work in extensions.
