Please share information on how different terminal emulators handle commit graphs!

Please include the following details:

• A GIF or video demonstrating the emulator
• Version of the terminal emulator and the OS it's running on
• Links to documentation and issues related to the terminal emulator's image protocol implementation

Key points to consider when it works are:

• Support for commit graphs with multiple columns
• Ability to scroll through logs that exceed the terminal's height
• Capability to open and close commit details

https://zellij.dev/ causes problems with serie. I'm not an expert in the "terminal & images" topic and there seem to be some conflicts between certain terminals and multiplexers like Zellij. So I did some research to find combinations that should work. Somebody claimed that "Wezterm + Zellij + Yazi" works fine, so I gave this a try. Reducing my results to the relevant ones, I can say:

• Wezterm + Serie: The tree on the left is displayed as expected.
• Wezterm + Zellij + Serie: Tree is not displayed. Explicitly specifying -p kitty or -p iterm did not made a difference.
• Wezterm + Zellij + Yazi: Displays images (pngs) on my machine, so some kind of image display seems to work.

I don't know how to debug this. I'm happy to try to provide further details if you tell me which ones.

Thanks for sharing the information.
I don't use Zellij so I can't confirm this right away, but looking here it looks like Zellij can only use Sixel, and Yazi actually uses Sixel for display as well.

Tmux also blocks serie working in Kitty. I guess this is somewhat unsurprising since there is an emulation layer sitting between the terminal and the terminal app that translates everything on the way through. I guess the docs should just make a note of the fact that any/all known terminal multiplexers are not supported.

I am using Zellij running in Kitty.
Do you know if is worth exploring solutions either in Zellij or Series at some point?
