histogramScaling currently ignores values of equal to or less than zero.

Possible fix is adding a 'mask' parameter such that the user can specify if there is data they want ignored. The original purpose of this function is to allow for histogram scaled data for the purposes of using a colormap that captures the breadth of the data. That process bight be better served by a function that creates such a colormap.
