Would it be possible to do another release? 1.8.0 was done two years ago. We would like a release that includes this change here: 1f2f4d3 as we want to be using v1.9.4 of the lz4 library.

Sorry, I no longer have time to maintain this project.

@jpountz Thanks for your reply.

Maybe you can mark this project as 'archived' to tell the user if this project is no longer maintained.
Maybe you can add some other maintainers.

I have some experience in some open source communities, and I can do some small maintenance work if you like.

v1.9.3 of the lz4 library has a security issue CVE-2021-3520. A new release should fix it.

For information, I have done a ticket to have a new lz4 release build, the 1.9.4 is not recent (2022-08-16).

Any progress on it?

A new LZ4 has been released: 1.10.0.

Hi @Neustradamus, I think there are two ways to go.

  1. someone fork this repo and create the new release
  2. ask lz4 to add more maintainers to this repo.
