Preconditions

  1. Magento is installed from 2.2-develop branch
  2. Australian Dollar is set as Base & Allowed Currency (Stores > Configuration page, General > Currency Setup > Currency Options section)

Steps to reproduce

  1. Log in to Admin
  2. Go to Catalog > Products
  3. Start creating configurable product.
  4. Click Create Configurations button & proceed up to step 3.
  5. Select Apply unique prices by attribute to each SKU in price section.
  6. Select any attribute and start entering option's price.

Expected result

Currency symbol doesn't overlap entered attribute option's price while creating Configurable Product.

Hi @alena-marchenko
The issue has been fixed and delivered in 2.2-develop branch. Will be available with upcoming patch release.
Fixed in #12730 by @EfremovaVI in 2.2-develop branch
