Thank you very much! I have my FSB14 and FRS14-2 working now.

I noticed that the final state message is send by the FSB14 as soon as the delay time (release delay RV) is reached.
I tried to set the RV on the FSB14 as close as possible to the shut_time, but for some of my shutters, it takes up to 28 sec to get the feedback by the FSB14 after the final state is reached.
Is it also possible to already set the final state for the cover entity by using the shut_time and at latest by the final state message?

Nice that it works for you 😉

Regarding the final state, are you referring to end_top and end_bottom binary sensors ?
If so, I wasn't expected to keep those beyond the test phase, unless you think it could be useful.
In fact, the cover entity should give you all the information you need regarding the cover movement.
When the cover is moving up or down, the state of the cover is either opening or closing.
Then as soon as the cover reaches the final state, I expect the cover entity state to switch to either open or closed without any delay.
Are you observing a delay there ?

Unfortunately, the FSB14 sends the final state telegram only after the RV has passed, e.g.:
The shut time of Aktor_Raffstore_EG_Esszimmer_Rechts is ~62 seconds.
The RV is set to 90sec, because it should be > shut time, see also https://www.eltako.com/fileadmin/downloads/en/_datasheets/Datasheet_FSB14.pdf.

The telegram is received after 90 seconds, which means the cover entity had the closing state for 28seconds although the shutter was already closed. As soon as the telegram is received, the cover entity reflects the real state of the shutter.
It's a pity that the actuator doesn't recognize the stop of the shutter drive, when the final state is reached.

I suppose you use the up and down arrows to move the cover, right ?
Is the behavior different if you use the position to move the cover completely up and down ?

One thing which I noticed is that when using an automation and triggering many devices at once, only some of them are working.
If I add a delay of for example 200ms between each service action, it works without problems.

Hi @t-ice,

Yes this has been reported here as well.
My feeling is that the receiver (FAM14) cannot handle the throughtput.
That's why adding a delay between each command solves the issue.
