GA-A320M-H(Ryzen 1600AF CPU), disabled CSM: UefiSeven is unable to lock the memory address of either the GTX 1050 nor Radeon HD 8490 same setup as above with FlashBoot Pro: here it the info of UEFI boot with CSM enabled: GB-BRR5H-4500(Ryzen 4500U CPU), no CSM capability: UefiSeven is unable to lock the GPU memory address. |

Asus PRIME B660M-K D4, i3-12100this system is not supported by UefiSeven out of the box by using the RefindPlus, probably due to GOP Driver Provision, as in the case of Asus PRIME N100I-D D4, UefiSeven managed to boot the system (no CSM). the display froze at a half welcoming windows 7 logo, but I was able to access the system through VNC (I use Ultravnc 1.5.0.0-dev) on a quite strange (& interesting) state as displayed on the attached image Edit: disabling the Above 4G decode in the bios fixed the uefiseven vga output problem |

my quest & success stories with GPUs & drivers with UefiSeven on windows 7 against new UEFI Class3 hardware
it is important to always clean the system from old GPU drivers using DDU prior to any new GPU driver installation
Asrock D1800M
(Intel J1800 CPU), disabled CSM: UefiSeven works, SDI did find and installed GPU driver with success, HDMI works, basic display driver also works locked @ 1024x768
on this Asrock D1800M board, I tested a GTX 1050 & a Radeon HD 8490, without success. UefiSeven does not complain about locking the memory address in either GPU (probably due to IGP GPU), but the screen is stuck on the win logo dimming up & down
no BSOD as vnc does respond but fails to log as there is no operational graphics output when using either GTX 1050 or Radeon HD 8490
both GTX 1050 & Radeon HD 8490 drivers work fine when booting UEFI with CSM enabled (no need to use UefiSeven)
on this setup, I used the internal GPU to log into windows to check the GPU error for GTX 1050 & Radeon HD 8490. the error is Code 12 as explained here
Asus PRIME N100I-D D4-CSM
(Intel N100 CPU), disabled CSM: UefiSeven boots successfully. There are no GPU drivers available thereof the resolution is locked @ 1024x768
for comparission, here is the exact same hardware/OS with FlashBoot Pro
UefiSeven does not complain about locking the GPU memory address on my CTX 1050 neither on my Radeon HD 8490 (probably due to IGP GPU), but is unable to proceed passed the welcoming logo. pushing the power button shuts down the system gracefully
Here is some info of CTX 1050 on this system with FlashBoot Pro
here is some info of the GTX 1050 & Radeon HD 8490 booting UEFI with CSM enabled without UefiSeven or FlashBoot Pro
Finally, same hardware, no external GPUs under windows 11
so even if you manage to find GPU drivers, it is not guaranteed that you will have success
the error Code 12 as explained here depends on the motherboard and the way the Bios allocates resources
Conclusion: UefiSeven, although unmaintained, remains relevant as of today been the only open source tool that may help windows 7 boot on UEFI Class3 systems
a big thanks to manatails
