Just curious about the status of the project since last commit is made almost 1 year ago and development/maintenance seems like is stalled.

Thanks for asking and your interest in this project. Unfortunately we are not actively maintaining this project anymore. Back when we started it, it was created out of a necessity for a project we were building for a company then.

Are you interested in developing this project further? I don’t have the time to implement new features. And since I am not using this go package anymore I also don’t have motivation. But if you want to contribute you are welcome. And if there are any pull requests I am happy to make Code reviews.

I guess @sharpner is also willing to do some occasional reviews.

exactly ^^" we are basically testing/merging PRs but not much more...

We're currently using this project in production and are currently working on some improvements (right now support for easyjson if structs have the interfaces available and respecting http.Request's context cancellation)

Would those type of merge requests (feature changes) be appreciated or do you mainly only have cycles for bug fixes and the like?

We're (charm-jp) happy to assist with PRs, issues etc. as well!

Sure that would be awesome! Thanks for the help :-)

For me personally it would be nice though, if something like easyjson would be added as an optional feature, because not every project might want to add the dependency.

It is a real shame to see this semi-abandoned project. I'm not saying I want new features but is there at least the certainty that in case of an error/bug someone can fix it?

As I already said: I will continue to respond to issues or do PR reviews. Just not actively developing it. Also if you find a bug then open an issue or a PR directly with a fix.
