Military related icon

While writing an issue over on openstreetmap/iD#2177 , I was trying to find a good icon to go with military venues on iD. Currently, the best option could be the skull or x. I'm not much of a designer but here are some ideas:

• stylized high contrast camouflage pattern
• a handgun could be controversial

Oh cool. I like the helmet but it might be hard to decipher as a small icon. The medal one is pretty cool though. There is a ton of star symbolism in the military, so something based on the Bronze Star would be good. Basically a rectangle over a star type thing.
