Failed adding file to whitelist

Hi, thank you for this great scanner. While cleaning an infected site I've hit several time an issue with the whitelist. At some point it becomes impossible to add more files to the list and the following error is displayed:

Exploits of file '/path/to/file' failed adding file to whitelist! Check write permission of '/root/scanner-whitelist.json' file!

When this happens the size of the whitelist is 0, and the permissions are unchanged.
