I'm having this issue where music in imported playlists are not showing up.

If I import a playlist to update its list, an existing playlist, the new songs do not appear. Only the older songs that were already there, as if the playlist was never updated. Secondly, Museeks tends to only show what files it thinks it exists... it does not show everything that was in the playlist, regardless if it "Exists" or not. It's extremely difficult to narrow down which songs the app thinks "doesn't exist" when it does not show any of them at all, even while those files -do- exist and are in the Library.

Okay silly enough... I just narrowed down where the problem is coming from. Playlists have to be DELETED before you can import their updated files... if there is a way that this can be remedied in the next update, that would be awesome. Otherwise any time I update my Playlists externally, I have to delete ALL playlists and re-import them all.

It also appears that playlists exported from Museeks 0.12.x do not import with Museeks 0.13.1... so I just lost a huge amount of music :(

🤔 I am not sure to follow, can you maybe share a screencast of what you are trying to achieve?

So indeed, if the tracks are not in the library, the tracks are not added to the playlist. Also, the m3u playlists are saved with a relative path, so they should not be moved from your library.

Maybe I am missing something though.

If this is in reference to adding old Museek exported playlists...

I exported all of my Playlists in Museeks 0.12.x before upgrading to Museeks 0.13.2 (I don't know if you remember, but we talked about Museeks 0.13.1 not working properly at all and I had to downgrade back to 12). When I import those exported playlists back into Museeks 0.13.2, nothing happens. I can see the application processes them, but nothing happens. The list isn't added, the Playlist title isn't added, simply nothing happens. Furthermore, the only option I have is to drag-n-drop these playlist files into the application, there is no application menus to go through (Other than the settings). All other drag-n-drop features work properly.

The original issue I was having posting this is that if you import the same name playlist, to update an old playlist in Museeks, the application appears to add it properly. But when you click on the list, it only shows the previous songs, and not the updated songs or song information. I remedied this by deleting ALL playlists inside Museeks, and re-added them manually. I think it would be convenient for users if a playlist with the same name, (An updated version of said playlist) can be drag-n-drop'd into the application, and it updates that playlist accordingly, rather than having to delete the old one, and re-add it.

An even better remedy, or what would be more of a feature, is to allow drag-n-drop files in and out of Museeks, especially for Playlists. That way you can drag-n-drop music files in appropriately, and they will auto-populate into said Playlists.
