[macOS] Launchpad sometimes not found after Apollo started #397
Comments
I cannot reproduce this with both my launchpad pro on cfy and my launchpad mk2 |
Weird, I'll make a GIF showing it in a bit. |

In these moments where it's not recognized, do other programs like Ableton recognize it? |
Mhm, Ableton does recognize the Launchpad, while Apollo doesn't. |
Can't even try to look at this without a consistent, step-by-step repro. |
Consistent? It happens almost every time on macOS. |
What do I do, starting from unplugged Launchpad and no apps open, to get the bug step by step? |
You can have any app opened, just launch Apollo Studio before plugging in the Launchpad. |
It happens on windows too, Ableton does recognize, but apollo doesn't recognize the launchpad, it doesn't happen all the time on windows, but most of the times it does, especially when a project is loaded, so I always plug the launchpad first, then open Ableton and apollo |
Description
If a Launchpad was to be plugged in after Apollo Studio has been launched, it would not find said Launchpad.
To Reproduce
Open Apollo Studio
Plug in a Launchpad (I'm using a MK2)
Expected behavior
Apollo recognizes the Launchpad.
Your setup
macOS Catalina 10.15.6, Apollo Studio 1.8.0
