Help on LiteDatabase.Execute syntax

I cannot find any docs on Execute syntax. For example, I have a Settings collection with Key and Value fields. What's the exact syntax for inserting and updating?

// insert
db.Execute("insert into settings values (?, ?)", key, value);
// update
db.Execute("update settings set value = ? where key = ?", key, value);
