Proposal

The EditContext API just shipped with Chromium. It's available now in Chrome and Edge 121. The proposal is to document this API on MDN.

Browser support

Edge and Chrome 121 (and other Chromium-based browsers, as they update from upstream).
Firefox seems to be considering it: mozilla/standards-positions#199
