I encountered the same problem as #23 while trying to have a portable conda environment for snakemake.

See #23 (comment) for some options.

Hello. Sorry we took so long to get back to this. An issue was created on the bioconda repo, and we are waiting for a response.

Version 1.1.8 is now available on bioconda and should work okay
