When the unit tests for the jobs were written, rspec didn't have support for ActiveJob. Now it has: check here for examples using rspec-rails.

Could you please provide more information @dread-uo?
Specifically:

  • Is this a bug or an enhancement?
  • A reference for the rspec documentation on the ActiveJob support.
