UK keyboard types " instead of @ in code blocks

Issue:

I'm using a UK English keyboard where " is on Shift+2 and @ is on Shift+'.

When I type into prose blocks, both of these symbols work fine.

When I type into code blocks, Shift+2 types a single unbalanced ".

Shift+' types balanced quotes "" and adjusts spacing, instead of an @ as expected.

Copy-pasting an @ from elsewhere does still work.

Environment:

• Browser: Firefox
• Platform (Mac/Windows/Linux): Windows 10
• Language "English (United Kingdom)"
