PAPPL v1.0.3 is a general bug fix release and is now available for download. Changes in 1.0.3 include:

• The Set-Printer-Attributes operation did not save changes to "printer-contact-col".
• Fixed using the "auto" driver without an IEEE-1284 device ID string (Issue When creating a print queue via command line, I cannot auto-select the driver #154)
• Fixed some more threading issues (Issue Web interface: After adding a queue via command line the frontend does not show all queues #155, Issue papplSystemIteratePrinters test fails under ARM #162)
• Fixed bogus USB error reporting (Issue "autoadd" via command line works but gives 3 times "ps-printer-app: Unable to get IEEE-1284 device ID: Pipe error" #156)
• Fixed testpappl on systems without Avahi running (Issue Debian: testpappl: avahi_client_set_host_name assertion `client' failed #159)
• Adding a printer now works for names with special characters (Issue When giving a new printer a name of only digits PAPPL always tells that this name already exists #161)
