[Find My Mouse] Allow to change the shortcut #14651
Comments
I fully agree with the above! |
@jaimecbernardo FYI |
That's SCOOBE in #14536 |
Also see #14638 |
Yes, full customizability at best and being able to set it to right ctrl at the minimum |
The double key press duration should be configurable too. |
True, was mistaken with animation duration. Delay is hardcoded at 100 ms. |
Hi |
Thank for suggest, in time wait PowerToys team make change I have modified it by myself and it working perfect now! Modified file 100% safe, I just changed 1 bit which define RightCtrl instead of Left. You can check by cmd:
It will show changed 1 bit 74 -> 75 |
Agree with all the above... my 2cents is CTRL CTRL is such a valuable shortcut (being at the corner of the keyboard it's so easy to locate from hands off), that I would MUCH rather reserve it for a function that I would use more often. Was poking around to see if there was already an idea open, but I'd actually prefer having two shortcuts. 1 for current functionality and the other that was an always on/always off toggle. |
Would be nice to be able use a mouse button for this. Folks with gaming mice have lots of "extra" buttons when not gaming and it would be super handy to not even have to go to the keyboard. |
Agreed |
Being able to choose any shortcut combination would be the best |
This has been worked on for the 0.74.0 release. Please update PowerToys to the latest version. 😉 |
Description of the new feature / enhancement
This feature is great, but I find myself pressing Ctrl two times far too often.
Could you change it to tipple press, or allow for user-defined shortcut?
Scenario when this would be used?
For me this feature results in far too many false positives, so different shortcut would be great
