Area(s) with issue?

Video Conference Mute

Steps to reproduce

Enable Video Conference Mute
Ensure Microphone and Camera is properly selected
Start Conference using Camera
Hit hotkey to mute Camera (Default: WinKey+Shift+O

✔️ Expected Behavior

A few behaviors I'd expect:

  1. Camera no longer shows on feed
  2. Camera Overlay Image is displayed on Feed
  3. Toolbar shows "Camera Off" or similar message

❌ Actual Behavior

All Other Apps Tested

  1. Camera continues to show feed
  2. Overlay Image is nowhere to be found
  3. Toolbar shows "Camera not in use" even though selected camera is in use.

Teams:

  1. Toolbar shows "Camera Off"
  2. Camera feed continues to work, no overlay image

Other Software

Tried with the following software:
Windows Camera App 2021.105.10.0
Zoom 5.9.1 (2581)
Teams 1.4.00.19572 (64-Bit)

Did you set VCM as the source in the apps?

That's an option that wasn't present when I was troubleshooting. Didn't appear until after a reboot. Closing Issue.
