Hi! We've identified this issue as a duplicate of another one that already exists on this Issue Tracker. This specific instance is being closed in favor of tracking the concern over on the referenced thread. Thanks for your report! |
sorry, copied wrong item, this would be tracked via #14137 then. I think it a pivot of find my mouse. We could do some neat stuff here. |
How? That issue does not mention keeping the mouse pointer highlighted at all times. Shouldn't we reopen this ticket instead? |
Description of the new feature / enhancement
An option to keep the mouse pointer highlighted at all times with color options. Create a highlighted ring around the mouse cursor in addition to the functionality of highlighting the mouse pointer on click. I'd also like to capture the mouse highlight when recording with OBS.
Scenario when this would be used?
When doing online Zoom meetings or other Webinars, I need the mouse pointer to remain highlighted so viewers can follow along where I'm pointing. There is an app for this in the Microsoft Store, but I'd prefer to use PowerToys. This functionality is also built into the presenter mode of Zoom, but it's clunky and difficult to use. It's not customizable and it doesn't record the highlight on OBS.
