Crashing opening settings #18498
Comments
Duplicate of #18457 |
Do you use some optimizer software like RivaTuner? /needinfo |
@stefansjfw |
@BillDenton In that case, try enabling UAC? That should fix your issue .. |
@stefansjfw how do I do that? |
Type UAC in windows search and open User Account Control Settings window. Move scroller to up/away from the "Never notify" (bottom option).
PowerToys has changed :) We started using WinAppSDK in the latest release. WinAppSDK version we're using has limitation if you try to run app elevated. |
@stefansjfw Changed to "notify me only when apps try to make changes to my computer (do not dim my desktop" and rebooted. Now the settings are working. |
@BillDenton Thanks for the feedback. We'll be switching to the newer version of the WinAppSDK which should support running apps elevated soon |
