Description of the new feature / enhancement

The options to change the FancyZone editor layout shortcut for custom fancy zones.

Scenario when this would be used?

For use with hardware, specifically keyboard shortcuts which only accept three keyboard short-cuts instead of four.

Yes, although; I want to change the default three keys used to set a short-cut for opening a custom layout within the FancyZones editor.

Commenting to add info/further ideas from duplicate post:

Description of the new feature / enhancement

  • A setting to edit the hotkey modifier that activates "Quick layout switch", from the default Win+Ctrl+Alt(+selected number).

Further enhancements:

  • An option that would allow users to choose any selected key for a specific layout (rather than just number keys), or even choose different modifier + key combinations individually for each layout
  • A shortcut for cycling between layouts in order (ideally also editable, but defaults could potentially be Win+Shift+Left/Right or Win+Shift+PgUp/Dn). This could be made even better by allowing layouts to be grouped by the user (for example you could group all your grid layouts together, and all your canvas layouts together, so that when you are on a grid layout the hotkeys cycle through other sizes of grid, and when you are on a canvas the hotkeys cycle through different canvas layouts.)

Scenario when this would be used?

I quite frequently want to change between similar layouts on the fly, however Win+Ctrl+Alt + any number is quite a difficult key combination to hit, esp with one hand and by touch (at least for me), and my most common workflow when using FancyZones is one hand on the (left side of the) keyboard with the other hand on the mouse. Having to either move my right hand over to the keyboard, or stop to look at the keyboard and make the shortcut work with one hand, slows down the otherwise pretty fluid use of this feature.

I'm sure other users have this issue, and regardless, adding the flexibility of choosing your shortcuts does not take away from the user experience of those who do not want to change them, but enhances the utility and accessibility for other users.
