@asecor were you already on Windows 10 2004 when you installed PowerToys or did you update Windows after PowerToys was installed? Which version of Windows were you on before the update?

I tried reproducing this error on a 2004 VM and on a 1809 VM with PowerToys 0.18.2 which was then updated to 2004 but I could not reproduce the error. @asecor are you still facing this issue? If not can you let us know the information mentioned above? Maybe the update had not completed and a reboot could fix it, but I'm not sure.

PowerToys 18.2

Here's another case:

I did not check whether the module worked on 1909 before I upgraded to 2004.
Notice that the icons are circles for the broken modules (for me and for OP), which isn't what they are supposed to look like.

Both modules work again. No Windows update have taken place since it not working and it working again. Nor have I un- and reinstalled PowerToys 18.2.
Also the icons for those modules are shown correctly again.
However note that instead of the "General Settings"-tab, there's now a "General"-tab. And I am no longer to enable/disable all the modules in one place. It is as if the whole UI has reverted to an earlier version. A very strange bug.

@DavidGretzschel yes the UI screenshot you sent in the second post is what is supposed to be displayed on Windows 1903 or higher, whereas if it's older than that it should show the old UI (the first screenshot), because PowerToys Run and Keyboard Manager use UI platforms that are only supported on 1903 or higher..
Do you know what changed between when you reproduced the error and now? Was there a reboot or was it just a matter of closing and opening PowerToys? Trying to find what might have caused our OS version check logic to fail.

There was definitely a reboot between those. That doesn't mean that it wasn't down to closing and reopening, I haven't checked that.
I think I had what you refer to as the "old UI" on 1903, already? I'm not really sure.
Also I think I like the "old UI" much better, since I can disable/enable all modules in one place.
