FancyZones: Zones not positioned correctly on first TaskView desktop with TaskBar set to Left #6581
Comments
I am using PowerToys version 0.23.0 and get the same problem. This seems to be a duplicate of #2252 . |
@ggeorgiev2001 |
I can replicate a bug in the FZ editor that doesn't preview the zones correctly, but then zoning works.
If you can't replicate it with 0.29.3 I'll close the issue, but feel free to reopen it in case it will happen again. Thanks. |
v0.29.3 Reopened as #9087 |
In 0.35 there will be a fix for several taskbar issues, we didn't manage to reproduce this particular one, so we are not 100% sure it will be fixed, but after releasing 0.35 we will close the issue as fixed and then reopen it if it will reproduce. |
This has been resolved in the 0.35 release. https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys/releases/latest |
ℹ Computer information
📝 Provide detailed reproduction steps (if any)
Move Windows' TaskBar to vertical left (Right-click on Taskbar; clear "Lock taskbar"; drag taskbar to the left edge);
✔️ Expected result
First virtual desktop' snapping should be no different than others;
❌ Actual result
First virtual desktop' snap areas are shifted under the taskbar.
📷 Screenshots
Are there any useful screenshots? WinKey+Shift+S and then just paste them directly into the form
Not too easy to provide screenshots with this feature, might try with a virtual machine setup.
