WSL Catastrophic Failure after Exhausting Disk Space #11189

Repro Steps

When attempting to install texlive-full via apt-get, I exhausted my disk space. Subsequently, executing any command resulted in bash displaying errors such as 'Input/Output failure' or messages indicating the file system had become read-only. Attempting to reboot WSL thereafter resulted in a 'Catastrophic Failure' message.

Expected Behavior

Running Normally

Actual Behavior

Catastrophic Failure

After I increased the disk size, this problem was solved.
