If AllowPassageOfTime is set to false, the weather should stay as it is initially specified (in the mission XML). However, the current implementation uses minecraft's weather command to set the weather for a fixed duration (max allowed value). This accounts for approx. 11.5 (real) days at normal render speed and as few as 5.5 hours at the max (current) render speed per experiment/mission.
It would be nice if the weather actually stays the same permanently.
